Distinctive Interior and External Architectural Woodworking
Designed by Maurice Jennings, protege of Frank Lloyd Wright, this grand chapel incorporates over ten miles of running trim and siding. Pacific Architectural Millwork used clear, all-heart redwood, douglas fir, and plain sliced oak to create the striking, symmetrical design that is evident throughout the edifice. The project was a complex undertaking, requiring precise coordination with the architect and owner to achieve the breathtaking results. In addition to the interior and exterior woodworking, we also crafted unique pieces, such as the 12 foot entry door, with its floating, diamond-shaped glass jamb. "The hand-crafted quality of the millworking contractor is evident in each section of the detailing. The attention to craftsmanship given to the project by Pacific Architectural Millwork was essential in this team effort." - Maurice Jennings AIA, Jones & Jennings Architects
