The panels glide effortlessly along the track until they reach the closed position, which automatically triggers an independently-operating bottom threshold to drop and seal the doors, thus eliminating the need for bulky handles to operate and lower each panel. The advantages of the Slide & Seal door system over traditional Lift & Slides are numerous: adjustability in the rollers to facilitate installation and accommodate variations in the opening, reduced cost and cleaner lines due to less visible hardware, flush handles and edge pulls that allow the panels to disappear flush into a pocket, and the ability to automate the door with remote or keypad operation while retaining weather performance.
